It's
been already ten years since I bought my first mini-dv camera. To say
the truth; when I decided to buy it, I didn't know what on earth I was
going to do with it. At that time, people used to acquire dv-cams to
make videos of other people getting married, family important meals, and
occasionally, some celebrations. So, the only thing I was really sure
about was that I wouldn't be the one to record moments like these.
A
decade later, I've got hundreds of tapes. I am also beginning to get
used to those people who look at me in a odd way when I try to capture a
moment with my mini-dv. Somehow, I feel like if I was halfway between
the old and new world; not being as romantic as a filmmaker with an 8 mm
camera, and neither, being "cool" enough like those people who buy a
2.000 € camera just to take pictures of an ashtray full of ashes.
Some
people like watching football, dancing, surfing or to go
fishing...Well, let's say I enjoy by capturing moments. And since last
year, also placing them in this blog.
